Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.
“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive.You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is beneficial.
God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.
These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.
Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live.

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.
We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers.

For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
