Things (3/4)

He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?He did not spare his own Son but gave him up for all of us. How then can he fail also to give us everything else along with him?
But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness. But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness.
And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one thing has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you; all have come to pass for you, not one of them has failed.I am now about to go the way of all upon the earth. You know very well in your hearts and your souls that not one of the good things that the Lord, your God, promised you has failed to take place. Every promise has been fulfilled, not one of them has been broken.
From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this ought not to be so.Out of the same mouth flow blessings and curses. This should not be so, my brethren.
But as for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine. As for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine.
As for you, the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and so you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, abide in him.But as for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and therefore you do not need anyone to teach you. This same anointing teaches you everything and is true and not false, so abide in him just as he taught you.
But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.Rather, professing truth and love, we will in all things grow into him who is the head, Christ.
I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!I have told you this so that in me you may be in peace. In the world you will endure suffering. But take courage! I have overcome the world.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them as their God; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.”And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne: “Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind; he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and he will be their God, God-with-them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be death. Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain, for the old order has passed away.”
So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!Consequently, anyone united to Christ is a new creation. The old order has passed away. Behold, all has become new.
And he said, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”Then he went on, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For from within, from the human heart, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, malice, deceit, indecency, envy, slander, arrogance, and folly. All these evils come from within, and they defile a person.”
Do all things without murmuring and arguing, so that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine like stars in the world. It is by your holding fast to the word of life.Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may show yourselves blameless and beyond reproach, children of God without spot in the midst of an evil and depraved generation, among which you shine like lights in the world as you hold fast tenaciously to the word of life.
Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common. The entire community of believers was united in heart and soul. No one claimed any of his possessions as his own, for everything was held in common.
When he had said this, as they were watching, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. After he said this, he was lifted up as they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight.
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what such people do secretly.Take no part in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather seek to expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of what deeds people do in secret.
The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil; for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks.A good man produces good from the store of goodness in his heart, whereas an evil man produces evil from the store of evil within him. For the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart.
The heart is devious above all else; it is perverse— who can understand it? I the Lord test the mind and search the heart, to give to all according to their ways, according to the fruit of their doings. The heart is more deceitful than any other thing, and it is also perverse. Who can uncover its secrets? I, the Lord, search the heart and probe the mind to reward all according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve.
And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work. And God is able to enrich you with an abundance of every grace, so that, with all of your needs provided for, you may be able to produce a surplus of good works.
And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love. Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love.
Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.Whatever you ask for in faith-filled prayer, you will receive.
Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.And now, brethren, farewell. Mend your ways. Encourage one another. Be of one mind and live in peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.
The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them. And the shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as they had been told.
For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly God's except the Spirit of God.And just as no human being comprehends any person’s innermost being except the person’s own spirit within him, so also no one comprehends what pertains to God except the Spirit of God.
He replied, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.”He replied, “What is impossible for men is possible for God.”
Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.Over all these put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. The reality is Christ.
