Bible Verses about 'Toward'

The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears are toward their cry for help. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
When you set your eyes on it, it is gone. For wealth certainly makes itself wings Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to dishonest gain.Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
For I will be merciful toward their wrongdoings, And their sins I will no longer remember. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Your speech must always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you.And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased.Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and about the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment. Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.
For one will hardly die for a righteous person; though perhaps for the good person someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another, according to Christ Jesus. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.
For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer, But the face of the Lord is against evildoers. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to raise his eyes toward heaven, but was beating his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.
And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, then behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them, and they said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
By this the love of God was revealed in us, that God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him.In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
