Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. | For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. |
In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. | And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent. |
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. | Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. |
