| Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,” | Do not succumb to the love of money, but be content with what you have, for God has said, “I will never forsake you or abandon you.” |

| Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. | Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. You received without payment; give in the same way. |
| And having been perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him. | And when he had been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. |
