Bible Verses about 'What'

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked, what is perverse. The lips of the righteous know what finds favor, but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse.
Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?
For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!
For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?
Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
Do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means!
So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.
Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.
And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.
And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.

What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
