What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it? Romans 6:1-2	What shall we say then? See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1 John 3:1	See how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God; and in fact we are. But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you. But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly God's except the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 2:11	For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? Therefore whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed from the housetops. Woe to you who strive with your Maker, earthen vessels with the potter! Does the clay say to the one who fashions it, “What are you making”? or “Your work has no handles”?

Woe to the one who quarrels with his Maker— A piece of pottery among the other earthenware pottery pieces! Will the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you doing?’ Or the thing you are making say, ‘He has no hands’?
