Whatsoever (2/4)

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.Let your love be sincere. Loathe what is evil and hold fast to what is good.
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you may ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked, what is perverse. The lips of the righteous utter words of kindness, but the mouth of the wicked knows only how to pervert.
Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.Abba, Father, for you all things are possible. Take this cup from me. Yet not my will but yours be done.
But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. As for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine.
For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.As long as the goodwill is present, the gift will be acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Therefore, heed my words. Do not be concerned about your life and what you will have to eat or drink, or about your body and what you will wear. Surely life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his very life? Or what can he give in exchange for his life?
But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”He replied, “What is impossible for men is possible for God.”
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid. What can mortals do to me?
But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”For as it is written, “Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has the human heart imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?The Lord has told you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? Only this: to do what is right, to show mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good? Now who is going to harm you if you are eager to do what is right?
But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience.
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?Do not associate with unbelievers. For what basis can there be for a partnership between righteousness and lawlessness? What do light and darkness have in common?
Do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.Do not be concerned about your life and what you will have to eat, or about your body and what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.Let what you heard from the beginning remain in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, then you will remain in the Son and in the Father.
For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his very life?
Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. Therefore, keep watch, for you do not know the day when your Lord is coming.
Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? What then if you were to behold the Son of Man ascend to where he was before?
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.I further pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know the hope to which he has called you, how rich and glorious is his inheritance in the saints.
What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! What then? Should we sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Of course not!

I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you already have so that no one may rob you of your crown.
