However, whoever lives by the truth comes to the light so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been done in God. | But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God. |

We have come to know and to believe in the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him. | We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. |
And whoever does not provide for relatives, especially for those who are living with him, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. | But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. |

One who finds a wife finds happiness and receives favor from the Lord. | Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh. |
