- Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.

God, lift up your hand!
Don’t forget the helpless. - Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.
- For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness.
I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more. - The way of Yahweh is a stronghold to the upright,
but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity. - Treasures of wickedness profit nothing,
but righteousness delivers from death. - He who walks blamelessly walks surely,
but he who perverts his ways will be found out. - We have sinned, and have dealt perversely, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even turning aside from your precepts and from your ordinances.
- Don’t envy the man of violence.
Choose none of his ways.
For the perverse is an abomination to Yahweh,
but his friendship is with the upright. - Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
- Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
- Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.
- Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.
