Worship God (2/4)

In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?In God, whose word I praise, in God I place my trust and know no fear; what can people do to me?
But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I place my hope in God my savior; my God will hear me.
If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, God, You will not despise. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a contrite and humble heart, O God, you will not spurn.
No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is made complete in us.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God.
Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.”
So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.God created mankind in his image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them.
For they exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature, and likewise the men, too, abandoned natural relations with women and burned in their desire toward one another, males with males committing shameful acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and offered worship and service to the creature rather than to the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural practices. Likewise, men gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameful acts with men and received in their own persons the fitting penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since these people did not see fit to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their depraved way of thinking and to all types of vile behavior.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.God said, “Let there be light!” And there was light.
And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God.
No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.No one has ever seen God. It is the only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, who has made him known.
Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His faithfulness to a thousand generations for those who love Him and keep His commandments.Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments.
But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases. Our God is in heaven; he does whatever he pleases.
Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
Yet I have been the Lord your God Since the land of Egypt; And you were not to know any god except Me, For there is no savior besides Me.I am the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. You know no God but me, nor any savior other than me.
No one is to say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.
Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the one who sustains me.
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.Hence, be imitators of God, as beloved children.

Arise, Lord; God, lift up Your hand. Do not forget the humble.Arise, O Lord! Lift up your hand, O God! Do not forget the afflicted.
My soul, wait in silence for God alone, For my hope is from Him.In God alone be at rest, O my soul; it is from him that my hope comes.
Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
