Bible Verses about 'Wrong'

The Rock: his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. A God of faithfulness who does no wrong, just and right is he.He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is!
We have sinned, and have dealt perversely, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even turning aside from your precepts and from your ordinances. But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulations.
Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.
When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment. And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.
Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established.Plans go wrong for lack of advice; many advisers bring success.
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong.
Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all wrongs.Hatred stirs up quarrels, but love makes up for all offenses.
See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people.
Wash yourselves. Make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil.Wash yourselves and be clean! Get your sins out of my sight. Give up your evil ways.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.
Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.
Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him, to our God, for he will freely pardon.Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.
He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart; he who doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man. Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.”
Woe to him who strives with his Maker— a clay pot among the clay pots of the earth! Shall the clay ask him who fashions it, ‘What are you making?’ or your work, ‘He has no hands’?What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’
But he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whomever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked. But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.
If it seems evil to you to serve Yahweh, choose today whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh. But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.
Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom.Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.
