In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Let your face shine upon your servant; save me in your kindness.Make your face to shine on your servant. Save me in your loving kindness.
On one occasion, while they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set Barnabas and Saul apart for me to do the work to which I have called them.”As they served the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Separate Barnabas and Saul for me, for the work to which I have called them.”
Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from anything that can defile flesh or spirit, and thereby make our holiness perfect in the fear of God.Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

Encouraged by the Holy Spirit, the Church grew in numbers.So the assemblies throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

Indeed, the word of God is living and active. Repent and renounce all your transgressions. Otherwise your iniquity will prove to be your downfall.Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin.
