You are a good person (2/4)

And so does kindness, O Lord. You reward each person in accordance with his deeds.“And with you, Lord, is unfailing love”; and, “You reward everyone according to what they have done.”
You are the light of the world. A city built upon a mountain cannot be hidden.You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
Flee from sexual immorality! Every other sin that a person commits is outside the body, but the fornicator sins against his own body.Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.
This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples: if you love one another.By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your gracious Spirit lead me along a level path.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
No trial has confronted you except what a person can stand. God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tried beyond your strength. But together with the trial he will also provide a way out and the strength to bear it.No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Then he went on, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For from within, from the human heart, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, malice, deceit, indecency, envy, slander, arrogance, and folly. All these evils come from within, and they defile a person.”He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”

He said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not realize that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him, since it enters not into the heart but into the stomach and is discharged into the sewer?” Thus, he pronounced all foods clean.“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)
Therefore, encourage one another and strengthen one another, as indeed you are doing.Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
I am confident of this: that the one who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?
Guide me in your truth and instruct me, for you are God, my Savior, and in you I hope all the day long.Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

But the one who did not know those wishes, and who acted in such a manner as to deserve a beating, will be beaten less severely. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
Two are better than one: they earn a far greater reward for their toil.Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.
Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
