But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not just hearers who deceive themselves. | Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. |
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving. | Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. |
