Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise.Take care that no one deceives himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.
Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus.
Repent and turn from all your transgressions; otherwise iniquity will be your ruin.Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you.

Therefore rid yourselves of all sordidness and rank growth of wickedness, and welcome with meekness the implanted word that has the power to save your souls.Therefore, ridding yourselves of all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.
