Honor your father and your mother so that your days may be lengthened in the land that the Lord your God, will give you. | Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. |
But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. | But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. |

You shall observe the Sabbath by keeping it holy, as the Lord, your God, has commanded you. You are to labor on six days, doing all of your work then. The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord, your God. You shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass, nor your cattle, nor even the foreigner living in your town. O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me; may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever. | Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me. |

You shall serve the Lord, your God. He will bless your bread and water and take away sickness from your midst. | You shall serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you. |
Then Peter came up to him and asked, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? Rend your hearts and not your garments, and turn back to the Lord, your God. For he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, rich in kindness, and always prepared to relent from punishing. | Tear your heart and not your garments, and turn to Yahweh, your God; for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and relents from sending calamity. |
