Burdens be lifted up (2/4)

A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.
So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
God raised up His Servant for you first, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.
Then Peter came up and said to Him, “Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.”Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!”
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity.He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal.Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.
But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.
For this is what the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, says: “I dwell in a high and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite.”The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.”
The Lord bless you, and keep you; The Lord cause His face to shine on you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His face to you, And give you peace.May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.
Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing.So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.
And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and, looking up to heaven, He blessed them and broke them, and gave them to the disciples again and again, to serve the crowd. And they all ate and were satisfied; and the broken pieces which they had left over were picked up, twelve baskets full.Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread and fish to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people. They all ate as much as they wanted, and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftovers!
If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me.I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me.
And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.”
The Lord opens the eyes of those who are blind; The Lord raises up those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly.
But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.
Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he grows older he will not abandon it.Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.
Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord.
How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who fear You, Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of mankind!How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.
Because Your favor is better than life, My lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
Let me hear Your faithfulness in the morning, For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.
And walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
I will raise my eyes to the mountains; From where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!

Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I get up; You understand my thought from far away.O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
