Bible Verses about 'Burdens be lifted up'
- Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.
- And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.
- And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.

And He was exalted with my tongue. - Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
- And in Hades he raised his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his arms. And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’

But the righteous one will live by his faith. - Hatred stirs up strife,
But love covers all offenses. - As they had their pasture, they became satisfied,
And as they became satisfied, their heart became proud;
Therefore they forgot Me. - Is this not the fast that I choose:
To release the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the ropes of the yoke,
And to let the oppressed go free,
And break every yoke? - Arise, Lord; God, lift up Your hand.
Do not forget the humble. - He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds. - But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
- Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. - For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up!
- Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on His name.
- A gentle answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger. - The vine has dried up
And the fig tree has withered;
The pomegranate, the palm also, and the apple tree,
All the trees of the field have dried up.
Indeed, joy has dried up
From the sons of mankind. - To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, loving, compassionate, and humble.
- And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
- Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
- Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and they will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and flog and crucify, and on the third day He will be raised up.
