Bible Verses about 'Burdens be lifted up'
- Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

but love covers all wrongs. - But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.
- Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.

He was extolled with my tongue. - Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen:
to release the bonds of wickedness,
to undo the straps of the yoke,
to let the oppressed go free,
and that you break every yoke? - Arise, Yahweh!
God, lift up your hand!
Don’t forget the helpless. - Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
- He heals the broken in heart,
and binds up their wounds. - Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you.
He will never allow the righteous to be moved. - Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.
- For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.
- A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger. - Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death, and will hand him over to the Gentiles to mock, to scourge, and to crucify; and the third day he will be raised up.
- If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
- When I said, “My foot is slipping!”
Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up. - According to their pasture, so were they filled;
they were filled, and their heart was exalted.

Yahweh make his face to shine on you,
and be gracious to you.
Yahweh lift up his face toward you,
and give you peace. - A cheerful heart makes good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. - But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
- So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. - Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal.
- He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to the sky, he blessed them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. They ate and were all filled. They gathered up twelve baskets of broken pieces that were left over.
- Yahweh makes poor and makes rich.
He brings low, he also lifts up. - I will lift up my eyes to the hills.
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from Yahweh,
who made heaven and earth. - He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?
- Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind.
Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down.
Yahweh loves the righteous. - But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ.
- He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
- Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!
- Train up a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not depart from it. - Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
- But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. - Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
- For you will light my lamp, Yahweh.
My God will light up my darkness. - It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant.
