Bible Verses about 'Burdens be lifted up'
- Jesus answered them, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.”
- Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
- When he had said this, as they were watching, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.

and to break every yoke? - In Hades, where he was being tormented, he looked up and saw Abraham far away with Lazarus by his side. He called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in agony in these flames.’

Their spirit is not right in them,

Pomegranate, palm, and apple—

among the people. - When Jesus had received the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor.
- A cheerful heart is a good medicine,
but a downcast spirit dries up the bones. - See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death; then they will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified; and on the third day he will be raised.
- But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
- But those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.
- Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
- So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

they shall mount up with wings like eagles,
they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint. - And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. And all ate and were filled. What was left over was gathered up, twelve baskets of broken pieces.
- And, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
- Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war rise up against me,
yet I will be confident. - He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?
- I lift up my eyes to the hills—
from where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.

- The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
the Lord loves the righteous. - When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many words.
- Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.
- But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
- It will not be so among you; but whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave.
- While he was going and they were gazing up toward heaven, suddenly two men in white robes stood by them. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
