Bible Verses about 'Burdens be lifted up'
- Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.
- And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.
- And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.
- Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden,
The God who is our salvation. Selah - Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
- And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.”
- Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him.
- Hatred stirs up strife,
But love covers all offenses. - But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
- I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was exalted with my tongue. - Is this not the fast that I choose:
To release the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the ropes of the yoke,
And to let the oppressed go free,
And break every yoke? - Arise, Lord; God, lift up Your hand.
Do not forget the humble. - And in Hades he raised his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his arms. And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’
- Behold, as for the impudent one,
His soul is not right within him;
But the righteous one will live by his faith. - He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds. - Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. - Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on His name.
- For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up!
- A gentle answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger. - The vine has dried up
And the fig tree has withered;
The pomegranate, the palm also, and the apple tree,
All the trees of the field have dried up.
Indeed, joy has dried up
From the sons of mankind. - To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, loving, compassionate, and humble.
- Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and they will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and flog and crucify, and on the third day He will be raised up.
- As they had their pasture, they became satisfied,
And as they became satisfied, their heart became proud;
Therefore they forgot Me. - And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
- Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
- A joyful heart is good medicine,
But a broken spirit dries up the bones. - Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
- The Lord bless you, and keep you;
The Lord cause His face to shine on you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His face to you,
And give you peace. - So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
- But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.
- God raised up His Servant for you first, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.
- Then Peter came up and said to Him, “Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.”
- He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. - Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal.
- Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing.
- Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
- And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and, looking up to heaven, He blessed them and broke them, and gave them to the disciples again and again, to serve the crowd. And they all ate and were satisfied; and the broken pieces which they had left over were picked up, twelve baskets full.
- If I should say, “My foot has slipped,”
Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me. - And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”
- The Lord opens the eyes of those who are blind;
The Lord raises up those who are bowed down;
The Lord loves the righteous. - Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
- But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.
- Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.
- Train up a child in the way he should go,
Even when he grows older he will not abandon it. - For he will never be shaken;
The righteous will be remembered forever. - How great is Your goodness,
Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You,
Before the sons of mankind! - Because Your favor is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - It is not this way among you, but whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant, and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your slave.
- Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned.
- For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
