Chinese (traditional)- Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief. - He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. - He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. - The Lord will vindicate me;
your love, Lord, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands. - We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.
- Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. - Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
- As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
- Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.
For the Lord is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for him! - “Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you. - But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts. - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.Next verse!With image
