Give me Jesus (3/4)

And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”
But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.
