Giving to the needy (3/4)

To do righteousness and justice Is preferred by the Lord more than sacrifice.To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayers.
I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.I give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you should also love one another.
Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all guilt And receive us graciously, So that we may present the fruit of our lips.”Prepare in advance what you want to say, and return to the Lord. Say to him, “Take away all guilt and give us what is good, so that we may present as offerings the bullocks from our stalls.”
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace.In Christ and through his blood we have redemption and the forgiveness of our sins. In accord with the riches of his grace.
The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave.The wealthy man lords it over the poor, and the borrower becomes the slave of the lender.
He said to them, “But who do you yourselves say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”“But you,” he said to them, “who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the perseverance of Christ.May the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ.

Praise the Lord in song, for He has done glorious things; Let this be known throughout the earth.Sing praise to the Lord for his mighty deeds; let this be known throughout the entire world.
Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.I urge you, brethren, to watch out for those who incite dissensions and obstacles in opposition to the teaching that you have learned. Take care to avoid them.
Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after he had pronounced the blessing, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take this and eat; this is my body.”

Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body.Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the Church, the body of which he is the Savior.
Now the crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David; Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest!”The crowds that preceded him and those that followed kept shouting: “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
Do not envy a violent person, And do not choose any of his ways. For the devious are an abomination to the Lord; But He is intimate with the upright.Do not envy a violent man or choose to emulate any of his ways. For the perverse man is an abomination to the Lord whose friendship is bestowed only upon the upright.
Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.Let us remain firm in the confession of our hope without wavering, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.
I acknowledged my sin to You, And I did not hide my guilt; I said, “I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. SelahThen I acknowledged my sin to you, and I made no attempt to conceal my guilt. I said, “I will confess my offenses to the Lord,” and you removed the guilt of my sin. Selah
One who turns his ear away from listening to the Law, Even his prayer is an abomination.When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayer is detestable.
For the one who sows to his own flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.The one who sows in his flesh will reap a harvest of corruption, but the one who sows in the Spirit will reap from the Spirit the reward of eternal life.

Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.Let everyone submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which derives from God, and whatever authorities exist have been instituted by God.
