The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The way of the Lord is a stronghold to those with integrity, but it destroys the wicked.The way of the Lord is a refuge for the blameless, but it is the ruin of those who do evil.
He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.
But when they saw him walking on the water, they cried out in terror, thinking he was a ghost. They were all terrified when they saw him. But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage! I am here!”But when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
