Help (2/2)

I lifted up my voice in prayer to him; his praise was on my tongue.I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was exalted with my tongue.
For God would not be so unjust as to ignore your work and the love that you have shown for his name by the services you have rendered to the saints and still continue to render. For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.
Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up.Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.
Two are better than one: they earn a far greater reward for their toil. Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.
Riches will be of no avail on the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.Riches do not benefit on the day of wrath, But righteousness rescues from death.
Do not withhold kindness from anyone to whom it is due when it is in your power to grant it.Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it.
O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, filled with kindness for all who cry to you.For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord; O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cries of supplication.Out of the depths I have cried to You, Lord. Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the sound of my pleadings.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I place my hope in God my savior; my God will hear me.But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.
And learn to do good. Pursue justice and rescue the oppressed; listen to the plea of the orphan and defend the widow.Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor, Obtain justice for the orphan, Plead for the widow’s case.
Keep falsehood and lying far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but simply provide me with the food that I need.Keep deception and lies far from me, Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion.
When riches increase, so do those who are eager to accumulate them, and those who have accumulated them must remain content simply to feast their eyes on them. When good things increase, those who consume them increase. So what is the advantage to their owners except to look at them?
May the God of perseverance and encouragement grant that you may live in harmony with one another, following in the example of Jesus Christ. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another, according to Christ Jesus.
Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. For your faith grows ever more, and the love that all of you have for one another continues to increase. We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater.
But even so the Lord is waiting to be gracious to you, and he will rise up to grant you his compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him. Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.
What right do you have to pass judgment on someone else’s servant? The master will determine whether that servant will stand or fall. But the servant will be upheld, for the Lord has the power to enable him to stand.Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
Commit your way to the Lord; place your trust in him, and he will act. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, and the justice of your cause, like the noonday.Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it. He will bring out your righteousness as the light, And your judgment as the noonday.
I was eager to respond to those who did not consult me. I was anxious to be approached by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am! Here I am!” to a nation that did not summon me.I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, ‘Here am I, here am I,’ To a nation which did not call on My name.
And not only that, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we realize that suffering develops perseverance, and perseverance produces character, and character produces hope. And not only this, but we also celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope.
For I am longing to see you so that I may bestow on you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or, rather, so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine. For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
Brethren, if anyone is detected committing a transgression, you who are spiritual must set him right in a spirit of gentleness. Meanwhile, you should take care so that you yourselves are not tempted.Brothers and sisters, even if a person is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual are to restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you are not tempted as well.
