If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him. | If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. |
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them as their God; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.” | And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. |
For the Lord himself, with a cry of command, with the archangel's call and with the sound of God's trumpet, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be with the Lord forever. | For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. |
They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and after twisting some thorns into a crown, they put it on his head. They put a reed in his right hand and knelt before him and mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” | And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! |
All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being. | All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. |
Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, for you are receiving the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls. | Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. |
Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way. | And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. |
The Lord your God you shall follow, him alone you shall fear, his commandments you shall keep, his voice you shall obey, him you shall serve, and to him you shall hold fast. | Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. |
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. | For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. |
All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name. | To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. |
He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else? | He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? |
Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. | Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. |
This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all. | This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. |
From there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him if you search after him with all your heart and soul. | But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. |
I can do all things through him who strengthens me. | I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. |
I cried aloud to him, and he was extolled with my tongue. | I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue. |
The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. | The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. |
For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him. | My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. |
And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he is revealed we may have confidence and not be put to shame before him at his coming. | And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. |
For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority. | For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. |

The scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.” | For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. |
And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. | But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. |
