| God detests the prayers of a person who ignores the law. | One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination. |
| Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever! | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. |
| But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. | The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. | Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. |
| So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. | And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. |
| Don’t envy violent people or copy their ways. Such wicked people are detestable to the Lord, but he offers his friendship to the godly. | Do not envy the oppressor, And choose none of his ways; For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, But His secret counsel is with the upright. |

| We all come to the end of our lives as naked and empty-handed as on the day we were born. We can’t take our riches with us. | As he came from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return, To go as he came; And he shall take nothing from his labor Which he may carry away in his hand. |
| So obey the commands of the Lord your God by walking in his ways and fearing him. | Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him. |

| And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. | And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. |
| So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. | So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. |
