Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his mercy endures forever.Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
For the Lord takes delight in his people, and he crowns the humble with salvation.For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with salvation.
The Lord is slow to anger but great in power, and he will never allow the guilty to escape punishment. He makes his way in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust beneath his feet.Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. Yahweh has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
If you listen to the voice of the Lord, your God, and you do what is right in his sight, if you listen to his ordinances and observe all of his laws, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you.
He is the reflection of God’s glory and the perfect expression of his very being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Achieving purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high.His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
The tax collector, however, stood some distance away and would not even raise his eyes to heaven. Rather, he kept beating his breast as he said, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner.’But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

His divine power has bestowed on us everything that is necessary for life and for devotion through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.
And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.The testimony is this: that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
Great is the Lord and worthy of the highest praise; no one can even begin to comprehend his greatness.Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised! His greatness is unsearchable.
The wealth of a rich man is his stronghold; he regards it as a high wall that cannot be scaled.The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, like an unscalable wall in his own imagination.
For the Lord himself is the one who bestows wisdom; from his mouth come forth knowledge and understanding.For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Anyone who is victorious will be dressed like these in white robes, and I shall not blot his name from the book of life. Rather, I shall acknowledge it in the presence of my Father and his angels.He who overcomes will be arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the sake of the gospel will save it.For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.
He then called the people and his disciples to him and said to them, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord shine his face upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace.Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace.
It is the Lord, your God, whom you are to follow. You must fear him and observe his commandments and obey what he tells you and serve him and hold fast to him.You shall walk after Yahweh your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. You shall serve him, and cling to him.
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who trust in his kindness.Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness.
For he guards the paths of justice and keeps watch over the way of his faithful ones.That he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints.
If anyone thinks that he is religious but does not restrain his tongue, he is deceiving himself, and his religion is worthless.If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless.
Alleluia. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his precepts.Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments.
As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him.
What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his very life? Or what can he give in exchange for his life?For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
The love of the Lord is never exhausted, nor do his deeds of mercy ever come to an end. They are renewed every morning; his faithfulness never ceases.It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his mercies don’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.

This is how we can be certain that we abide in him and that he abides in us: he has given us a share in his Spirit.By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
