| So after more fasting and prayer, the men laid their hands on them and sent them on their way. | And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. |

| I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. | I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. |
| And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. | But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. |
| He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! | How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns! | How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! |
| The wise are glad to be instructed, but babbling fools fall flat on their faces. | The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall. |
| Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. | For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. |
| Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. | Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. |
