- In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.
- He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. - There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
- He only is my rock and my salvation;
he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. - For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
- And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
- For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
- Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
- But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
- Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
- Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. - And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
- When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
- And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
