| And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. | And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. |
| However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. | Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. |

| Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. | My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. |
