But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside.
Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever.‘Return, backsliding Israel,’ says the Lord; ‘I will not cause My anger to fall on you.
