For thus says the One who is high and exalted, who lives… Isaiah 57:15

For thus says the One who is high and exalted, who lives eternally and whose name is holy: I dwell in a high and holy place but I am with the contrite and the humble, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite. This rather is the type of fast that I wish: to loosen the fetters of injustice, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to set free those who are oppressed and to break every yoke. Isaiah 58:6	Is this not the fast that I choose: To release the bonds of wickedness, To undo the ropes of the yoke, And to let the oppressed go free, And break every yoke? fasting neighbor slavery

If you refrain from traveling on the Sabbath and from engaging in your own interests on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a day of joy and regard the Lord’s holy day as honorable, if you honor it by not going your own way, serving your own interests, or attending to your own affairs; then you will find true happiness in the Lord, and I will enable you to ride upon the heights of the earth. I will nourish you with the heritage of your father Jacob, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to announce good news to the oppressed, to strengthen the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom to those held in captivity and release to those who have been imprisoned. Isaiah 61:1	The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord anointed me To bring good news to the humble; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim release to captives And freedom to prisoners. I rejoice in the Lord with all my heart; my soul exults in my God. For he has clothed me in garments of salvation and wrapped me in a robe of saving justice, like a bridegroom adorned with a garland or a bride bedecked with her jewels. I was eager to respond to those who did not consult me. I was anxious to be approached by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am! Here I am!” to a nation that did not summon me. Isaiah 65:1	I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, ‘Here am I, here am I,’ To a nation which did not call on My name. seeking listening calling
Wash yourselves and become clean; remove your evil deeds far from my sight. Cease to do evil. Isaiah 1:16	Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil. sin purification evil
And learn to do good. Pursue justice and rescue the oppressed; listen to the plea of the orphan and defend the widow. Isaiah 1:17	Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor, Obtain justice for the orphan, Plead for the widow’s case. righteousness neighbor widows
Come now and let us discuss this, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be like snow. Though they are as red as crimson, they shall become as white as wool. O Lord, you are my God. I will exalt you and praise your name, for you have accomplished wonderful things, formulated in ages past, faithful and sure. O Lord, you grant peace to those who are steadfast because of their trust in you. Isaiah 26:3	The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You. trust safety peace
As we proceed in the path of your judgments, we wait for you, O Lord; your name and your renown are all that our heart desires. Isaiah 26:8	Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord, We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls. law righteousness desires
My soul longs for you throughout the night, and my spirit within me seeks your presence. For when your judgments are revealed to the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn to practice justice. All this knowledge comes from the Lord of hosts whose counsel is wonderful and whose wisdom is great. Isaiah 28:29	This also comes from the Lord of armies, Who has made His counsel wonderful and His wisdom great. God planning wisdom
But even so the Lord is waiting to be gracious to you, and he will rise up to grant you his compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him. Isaiah 30:18	Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him. grace righteousness patience
Until a spirit from on high is poured out upon us, and the wilderness becomes an orchard and the fruitful field becomes a forest. For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver. The Lord is our king; he is the one who will save us. Isaiah 33:22	For the Lord is our judge, The Lord is our lawgiver, The Lord is our king; He will save us. righteousness salvation kingdom
A highway will be there that will be called the Way of Holiness. No one who is unclean may pass over it; it will serve as a path for pilgrims and no fool will be able to use it. Isaiah 35:8	A highway will be there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for the one who walks that way, And fools will not wander on it. holiness
