John (4/4)

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.Truly, truly I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master, nor is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him.
If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.
Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.Truly, truly I say to you, the one who receives anyone I send, receives Me; and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.
But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God.
Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.By this the love of God was revealed in us, that God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.
On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.”
Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming. Now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not draw back from Him in shame at His coming.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them. The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me will never be thirsty.”
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them. And I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me.
