Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord; Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me; your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me!
In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.

Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
It is honorable for a man to stop striving, Since any fool can start a quarrel.It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me.

A talebearer reveals secrets, But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered.
