| So then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober. | So we must not fall asleep as the others do, but we must stay alert and sober. |

| Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him. | The one who eats everything must not look contemptuously on the one who does not, and the one who abstains must not pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed both. |
| And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. | And let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it was for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful. |
| If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit. | If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit. |
