| Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise. | Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise. |

| Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. | Let everyone submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which derives from God, and whatever authorities exist have been instituted by God. |
