Lift up your eyes (4/4)

Yahweh makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.
He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ.Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake will save it.For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.
But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.
Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name.Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.
For you will light my lamp, Yahweh. My God will light up my darkness.You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.
I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.

You shall labor six days, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God, in which you shall not do any work— neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the Lord your God has commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns, so that your male and female servants may rest, as you do.
May he grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your counsel.May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you today, that Yahweh your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.
Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one. You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
