He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.
Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.
We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps.

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
