Bible Verses about 'Master'

I tell you the truth, slaves are not greater than their master. Nor is the messenger more important than the one who sends the message. Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.
The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval.Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.
I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.”
Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am.You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.
Slaves must always obey their masters and do their best to please them. They must not talk back or steal, but must show themselves to be entirely trustworthy and good. Then they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive in every way.Exhort bondservants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back, not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet.If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
