| And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. | And a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” |
| But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. | Jesus answered, “As it is written: ‘Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.’ ” |
