But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. Matthew 5:37	Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one. reliability evil speaking

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33	Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. righteousness food kingdom
And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Matthew 7:3	And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? sin judgment
But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26	Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” miracles salvation understanding
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. Matthew 16:25	If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. salvation death life
Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41	Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak! prayer temptation desires
Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28	For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many. Jesus serving sacrifice
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:8	Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received! healing giving receiving

Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12	Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. law neighbor relationships
