My joy (2/4)

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.
The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.A wise child brings joy to a father; a foolish child brings grief to a mother.
I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.
For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.
He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine.My child, if your heart is wise, my own heart will rejoice!
In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.Come and listen to my counsel. I’ll share my heart with you and make you wise.
Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.Hear my prayer, O Lord! Listen to my cries for help! Don’t ignore my tears. For I am your guest— a traveler passing through, as my ancestors were before me.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.
