My joy (2/4)

Because I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist them. The one who was dying blessed me; I made the widow’s heart sing.Because I delivered the poor who appealed for help and the orphan who had no one to protect him. The blessing of the wretched was given to me, and I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.
His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. Since you have been faithful in small matters, I will give you much greater responsibilities. Come and share your master’s joy.’
The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The precepts of the Lord are right, causing the heart to rejoice. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving light to the eyes.
The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. The Lord, your God, is in your midst, a warrior and a savior. He will rejoice over you with gladness and renew you through his love. He will exult over you with shouts of joy.
I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.I love you, O Lord, my strength, O Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer. My God is my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. My deliverance and my glory depend on God; he is my mighty rock and my refuge.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.Even should my heart and my flesh fail, God is the rock of my heart and my portion forever.
I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart. To do your will, O God, is my delight; your law is in my heart.
You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. You, O Lord, are light for my lamp; O my God, you make my darkness turn to light.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, so that I stand unshaken.
“If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, then you will find your joy in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. If you refrain from traveling on the Sabbath and from engaging in your own interests on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a day of joy and regard the Lord’s holy day as honorable, if you honor it by not going your own way, serving your own interests, or attending to your own affairs; then you will find true happiness in the Lord, and I will enable you to ride upon the heights of the earth. I will nourish you with the heritage of your father Jacob, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, so that I stand ever unshaken.
You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word. You are my refuge and my shield; I put my hope in your word.
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light to my path.
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. As for me, I do not regard my life as of any value, only that I finish the race and complete the mission that I received from the Lord Jesus—to bear witness to the gospel of God’s grace.
Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.In God alone be at rest, O my soul; it is from him that my hope comes.
My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad indeed. My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad.
In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.In my anguish I cried out to the Lord and called to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.
Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings. If you would seriously consider my reproof, I would pour out my thoughts to you and make my precepts known to you.
Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.In God alone is my soul at rest; it is from him that my salvation comes.
Hear my prayer, Lord, listen to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping. I dwell with you as a foreigner, a stranger, as all my ancestors were.Hear my prayer, O Lord; do not be deaf to my cry or ignore my weeping. For I am a wayfarer before you, a nomad like all my ancestors.
And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.I will put my Spirit in you and make you follow my statutes and my ordinances.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.Whoever feeds upon my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I dwell in him.
When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.As long as I remained silent, my body wasted away as the result of my groaning throughout the day.

I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.I lifted up my voice in prayer to him; his praise was on my tongue.
