| And if then my people who bear my name humble themselves and pray to me and seek my presence as they turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear them from heaven and forgive their sins and restore their land. | And My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. |
| I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars of the heavens and I will give them all these lands. All the nations on the earth will be blessed through your descendants, for Abraham listened to my voice and observed that which I ordered: my commandments, my ordinances and my laws. | I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because Abraham obeyed Me and fulfilled his duty to Me, and kept My commandments, My statutes, and My laws. |
| To anyone who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself overcame and sat with my Father on his throne. | The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. |

| Examine me, O God, and know my heart; test me and understand my thoughts. See if I follow an evil way, and guide me on the way to eternity. | Search me, God, and know my heart; Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there is any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way. |
| Jesus answered him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.” | Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.” |

I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. |
| As a deer longs for running streams, so my soul longs for you, O God. | As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, God. |
| I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he set me free from all my fears. | I sought the Lord and He answered me, And rescued me from all my fears. |
| So shall my word be that issues forth from my mouth. It will not return to me unfulfilled, but it will accomplish my purpose and achieve what I sent it forth to do. | So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it. |
| I love the Lord because he has heard my voice and listened to my cry for mercy, because he has inclined his ear to me on the day when I called out to him. | I love the Lord, because He hears My voice and my pleas. Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. |

| Nothing gives me greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. | I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth. |
| When I realized that my foot was slipping, your kindness, O Lord, raised me up. | If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me. |
| Guide my steps in accord with your word and never let evil triumph over me. | Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me. |
| I have made a covenant with my eyes not to look with desire upon a virgin. | I have made a covenant with my eyes; How then could I look at a virgin? |
| O Lord, you have examined me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I stand; you perceive my thoughts from a distance. | Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I get up; You understand my thought from far away. |
| My mouth is filled with your praises as I relate your glory all day long. | My mouth is filled with Your praise And with Your glory all day long. |
