For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? Mark 8:36	What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his very life? greed materialism life
For one will hardly die for a righteous person; though perhaps for the good person someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:7-8	Indeed, it is seldom that anyone will die for a just person, although perhaps for a good person someone might be willing to die. So the Lord commanded us to follow all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God for our own good always and for our survival, as it is today. Like a city that is broken into and without walls So is a person who has no self-control over his spirit. Proverbs 25:28	Like a city that has been breached and made defenseless is the man devoid of self-control. self-control desires

And let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural practices. Likewise, men gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameful acts with men and received in their own persons the fitting penalty for their perversion.
