Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free.When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place.
Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.
Know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.
I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak.But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray.Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.
Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me.Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.
