Proverbs 3:5 (2/6)

Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death.Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
The memory of the righteous is blessed, But the name of the wicked will rot.The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.
The wise in heart will receive commands, But a prating fool will fall.The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
He who walks with integrity walks securely, But he who perverts his ways will become known.He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins.Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray.He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
Whoever hides hatred has lying lips, And whoever spreads slander is a fool.He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.
The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little.The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
The hope of the righteous will be gladness, But the expectation of the wicked will perish.The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
The way of the Lord is strength for the upright, But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.
When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom.When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death.Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
A talebearer reveals secrets, But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
The wicked man does deceptive work, But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward.The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.
The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid.Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
A fool’s wrath is known at once, But a prudent man covers shame.A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.
Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy.Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, But those who deal truthfully are His delight.Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.

The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
